وَ مَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاۤ اِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهۡوٌ ؕ وَلَـلدَّارُ الۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ يَتَّقُوۡنَ ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ
This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the (eternal) Home of the Hereafter for those mindful (of Allah). Will you not then understand?
(Quran 6:32)
قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَالِصَةًۭ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ (٩٤)
Say, (O Prophet,) “If the (eternal) Home of the Hereafter with Allah is exclusively for you (Israelites) out of all humanity, then wish for death if what you say is true!”
(Quran 2:94)
وَلَن يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ٩٥
And they will never ever wish for it, due to what their hands did. And God is Knowledgeable about the wrongdoers.
(Quran 2:95)
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍۢ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ ٩٦
And surely you will find them greedy for life, even more than those who associated partners to God. Each one of them would love if they are granted the life of a 1000 solar years. But giving more life will not protect, remove, prevent him from the punishment. And God is Seer of what they do.

(Quran 6:32)
اے محبوب!تم فرمادو: اگر دوسرے لوگوں کو چھوڑ کر آخرت کا گھر اللہ کے نزدیک خالص تمہارے ہی لئے ہے تو اگر تم سچے ہوتو موت کی تمنا تو کرو۔
(Quran 2:94)
اوراپنی بداعمالیوں کی وجہ سے یہ ہرگز کبھی موت کی تمنا نہ کریں گے اور اللہ ظالموں کوخوب جانتا ہے۔
(Quran 2:95)
اور بیشک تم ضرور انہیں پاؤ گے کہ سب لوگوں سے زیادہ جینے کی ہوس رکھتے ہیں اور مشرکوں میں سے ایک (گروہ)تمنا کرتاہے کہ کاش اسے ہزار سال کی زندگی دیدی جائے حالانکہ اتنی عمر کا دیا جانابھی اسے عذاب سے دور نہ کرسکے گا اور اللہ ان کے تمام اعمال کو خوب دیکھ رہا ہے۔

In Arabic
وَ مِنْ اٰیٰتِهٖۤ اَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوْۤا اِلَیْهَا وَ جَعَلَ بَیْنَكُمْ مَّوَدَّةً وَّ رَحْمَةًؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ
English Translation
And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find comfort in them. And He has placed between you compassion and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect.
(Surah Ar-Rum 30:21)
Urdu Translation
اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ اس نے تمہارے لئے تمہاری ہی جنس سے جوڑے بنائے تاکہ تم ان کی طرف آرام پاؤ اور تمہارے درمیان محبت اور رحمت رکھی۔ بے شک ا س میں غوروفکر کرنے والوں کیلئے نشانیاں ہیں ۔
(Surah Ar-Rum 30:21)

“هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ”
“They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:187)
