Hadiths About Health And Eat A Balanced Diet

Okay, here’s how to eat right in Islam:

  1. Don’t stuff yourself. Eat till you’re not hungry anymore, not full.
  2. Go to the doctor when you’re sick! Medicine is okay, as long as it’s not haram.
  3. Say ‘Alhamdulillah’ after a meal. Thanks to Allah for the food, y’know?
  4. Try to eat like the Prophet did – simple food, not too much.

See? It’s not super complicated!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

Allah has sent down both the disease and the cure, and He has appointed a cure for every disease, so treat yourselves medically, but use nothing unlawful.

(Sunan Abi Dawud 3874)
