Hadith About Quran In English
It was narrated by Abu Hurairah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: And recite the Qur’an during the Fajr. Verily, the recitation of the Qur’an during Fajr is ever witnessed.” He said: “It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the day.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 670)
Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur’an will be with the honorable and obedient scribes (angels) and he who recites the Qur’an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have two rewards.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The one who memorized the Qur’an shall come on the Day of Judgement and (the reward for reciting the Qur’an) says: ‘O Lord! Decorate him.” So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.'”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} قَالَ
” تَشْهَدُهُ مَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ” .
(سنن ابن ماجه ٦٧٠)
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : “الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن ويتتعتع فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران”
((متفق عليه)).
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ يَجِيءُ الْقُرْآنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ حَلِّهِ فَيُلْبَسَ تَاجَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ زِدْهُ فَيُلْبَسَ حُلَّةَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ ارْضَ عَنْهُ فَيَرْضَى عَنْهُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ اقْرَأْ وَارْقَ وَيُزَادُ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ حَسَنَةً ” .

Hadith About Quran Recitation In Urdu
:ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اور فجر میں قرآن پڑھا کرو۔ بے شک فجر میں قرآن کی تلاوت کی گواہی دی جاتی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: رات اور دن کے فرشتے اس کی گواہی دیتے ہیں۔

:عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قرآن پڑھنے میں مہارت رکھنے والا معزز اور فرمانبردار کاتبوں (فرشتوں) کے ساتھ ہو گا اور جو قرآن کی تلاوت کرتا ہے اور اسے پڑھنا مشکل ہوتا ہے جو اس کو بہترین طریقے سے پڑھے گا اس کے دو ثواب ہوں گے۔”[بخاری و مسلم]۔
:رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا
جس نے قرآن حفظ کیا وہ قیامت کے دن آئے گا اور (قرآن پڑھنے کا ثواب) کہے گا: اے رب! چنانچہ اسے شرافت کا تاج پہنایا جاتا ہے۔ پھر یہ کہتا ہے: “اے رب! اسے مزید عطا فرما۔” تو اسے شرافت کا لباس پہنایا جاتا ہے، پھر یہ کہتا ہے: اے رب! اس سے راضی رہو۔’ تو وہ اس سے خوش ہوتا ہے اور کہتا ہے: “پڑھو اور اٹھو، اور ہر آیت کے
ساتھ اجر میں اضافہ کرو۔

Hadith About Quran and Ahlul Bayt
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“I am leaving among you two weighty things: There first of which is the Book of Allah. It is guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it.’ So he exhorted (us) (to hold fast to it) and encouraged it then said, ‘And the members of my household, I remind you of Allah with regards (of your duties) to the members of my family.”‘ [Muslim]

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم
“ أولهما: كتاب الله، فيه الهدى والنور، فخذو بكتاب الله، واستمسكوا به” فحث على كتاب الله، ورغب فيه، ثم قال: “وأهل بيتي، أذكركم الله في أهل بيتي”

Hadith About the Quran and Sunnah
Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
Is any one of you incapable of reciting a third of the Qur’an in a night? They (the Companions) asked: How could one recite a third of the Qur’an (in a night)? Upon this, he (the Holy Prophet) said: “‘Say: He is Allah, One (Qur’an. cxii) is equivalent to a third of the Qur’an.”
(Sahih Muslim 811 a)
Note: It’s believed that the recitation of Surah Al-Ikhlas once is rewarded with the equivalent of reciting one-third of the Quran.
Hadith About Quran Learning
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said,
“The example of a Believer who recites the Qur’an, is that of a citron which smells good and tastes good; And the example of a Believer who does not recite the Qur’an, is that of a date which has no smell but tastes sweet; and the example of a hypocrite who recites the Qur’an, is that of an aromatic plant which smells good but tastes bitter; and the example of a hypocrite who does not recite the Qur’an is that of a colocynth plant which has no smell and is bitter in taste.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
“مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ كَمَثَلِ الأُتْرُجَّةِ، رِيحُهَا طَيِّبٌ وَطَعْمُهَا طَيِّبٌ، وَمَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ الَّذِي لاَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ كَمَثَلِ التَّمْرَةِ لاَ رِيحَ لَهَا وَطَعْمُهَا حُلْوٌ، وَمَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ مَثَلُ الرَّيْحَانَةِ، رِيحُهَا طَيِّبٌ وَطَعْمُهَا مُرٌّ، وَمَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ الَّذِي لاَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ كَمَثَلِ الْحَنْظَلَةِ، لَيْسَ لَهَا رِيحٌ وَطَعْمُهَا مُرٌّ ”.
Hadith About Quran In Ramadan
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous person, and he used to become more so (generous) particularly in the month of Ramadan because Gabriel used to meet him every night of the month of Ramadan till it elapsed. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to recite the Qur’an for him. When Gabriel met him, he used to become more generous than the fast wind in doing good.

Narrated Muhammad bin Ka’b Al-Qurazi:
“I heard ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”
